A long distance relationship isn?t as time consuming as a regular relationship. You have more time for your career, friends, hobbies and family. You can use the free time to reach your personal goals. You have more time to go over your feelings and realize if you truly value your partner. Therefore, you are willing to put in an extra effort on the relationship.
Confidence and communication is something you gain and makes your relationship more solid.
There is also the emotion of waiting to see each other, which makes the relationship to be more interesting, wanted and passionate.
You value more the time when you are together, so you don?t waste it on nonsense. You get to appreciate the memories and the moments that you spend together. You learn how to trust your partner, you become more intuitive, tolerant and patience because by being so far away the only thing you can count on is in his word to believe in.
In a long distance relationship you become so close that you will feel both of you are one, because every time you think or do something you are doing it on behalf of your partner.
And love in its essence is rooted deep enough that circumstances, personality differences and rejections will not disturb it. Otherwise, it would not be called true love.
