The State Building Code Council has approved a new energy code and adoption is underway in Honolulu, Kauai, Hawaii, and Maui. Learn about the new requirements in a one-day technical seminar co-sponsored by the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism and Hawaii Energy held statewide for private sector professionals, building professionals, architects, engineers and contractors, as well as local code and building officials. The training will provide a review of IECC 2009 and Hawaii amendments, as well as information on Design Strategies for Code Compliance for air-conditioned residences and small commercial buildings.

WHEN / WHERE: Participants may attend the morning or afternoon sessions, or both.

Full day: 7:30 a.m. ? 4:00 p.m. (lunch included)
