Friday Food Trip: Dessert Tripping at Slice ? Sandiestar

I found another alternative to coffee shops dotted across the metro: Slice in Bonifacio High Street Central! I know, I know. This isn?t my first time to rave about this shop.?(Check out previous posts on Slice?s Choco Yema cupcake here and here.) But since I had several Ensogo vouchers to spare, off to Slice I was again (and again)! See what I had on my last two trips to Slice! =)

Hot Choco

Their Hot Choco (Php120) came in this cute wooden tray. The adorable blue pitcher carried the thick, chocolatey drink, which you pour into the little white cup. The liquid is very thick so it?s?advisable?that you only have a little to drink at a time.

Peppermint Mocha 1

Slice?s Peppermint Mocha (Php150), meanwhile, came with biscotti which I thought went well with the very minty drink.

Peppermint Mocha 2

This heavily, heavily minty drink paled in comparison to Starbucks? red cup offering. I love mint, but maybe just a hint of it will do when mixed with mocha!

CM and OMU

How cute is this plating of Choco Madness (PHp70) ?and Oh My Ube (Php80)?

Choco Madness

Slice?s Choco Madness muffin had HUGE bits of chocolate chips. I especially liked the slight fruity flavor when mixed with the rich, chocolate base.

Oh My Ube 1

Oh My Ube is just as good ? creamy icing topped with strips of macapuno. Plus, it contained a surprise!

Oh my Ube 2

There were bits of pandan in there, too!

Choco Yema Cake

I know I had been raving about Slice?s Choco Yema cupcakes for the longest time. I thought nothing would ever come close to it, but that wasn?t until I tried their Chocolate Yema Cake! It?s even better than the cupcake version, in my opinion. I especially liked how this cake managed to be both sweet and bitter at the same time.?You must try this goodness!

Turtle Pie 1

And here?s another favorite: Turtle Pie (Php150)! So mindblowingly good.?This cake really was a revelation.
