NORFOLK-A student at Old Dominion University is behind a Facebook effort to get the Sacramento Kings to move to Va. Beach.?
Chris O'Brien expected about 500 "likes" on his Bring the Sacramento Kings to Va. Beach" page. It's got more than 7,000 so far.
"I just think this area has been yearning for something like this for many years and for what I understand this could be the best possible opportunity we've ever had," he says.
The buzz is all about having the NBA team at the proposed 18,5000 area near the Oceanfront.
While it's not a done deal, O'Brien wants to make sure planners know there are a lot of people who want professional sports here.
